The former kingdom of Lo and now part of Nepal, Mustang means fertile plain. Mustang is situated in the north-central part of the country bordering Tibet on the central Asian Plateau and between the Dolpa and Manang (Nepalese provinces). The geography, culture, tradition, food, costume, and history is quite different of Mustang than other places. This region trek is full of adventure and lifelong experiences too. Mustang is the land of Barley field’s pastures for grazing herds. This is a classic trek that allows us to have ample opportunity to view mountain ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The trek to Mustang is through an almost treeless barren landscape.
